The latest generation modular system for bottling still wine.
Nautilus is a latest generation modular system for bottling still wine. It includes an electro-pneumatic rinser and an electro-pneumatic filler with No-Oxygen cycle capable to protect the wine from the oxidizing action of the air. These machines are integrated by the closing machines: a 12-head corker for still wine natural corks, a 12-head capper for aluminium pilferproof screw caps, a capsuler with 16 thermo-ventilated heads for heat-shrinkable PVC capsules (application and shrinkage), a capsuler with 20 pneumatic spinning for polylaminate capsules (application and spinning). Also included in the system is a no-stop labeler with 32 platforms and 7 labeling stations with orientation via 4 cameras.
Nautilus’ advanced control technology checks fill height, closure and also bottle mouth integrity. In case of non-compliance with the standards, a special system of automatic universal starwheels conveys the bottles to be rejected to the back side of the machine. In addition, Nautilus gives the possibility to load stored bottles that only need to be capsulated and labeled.
Nautilus features many strong points, starting from a very reduced footprint compared to a traditional system and from the limited number of operators. Nautilus is widely versatile, automated and ensures quick changeovers, along with the traceability of every step of the bottling process: the integrated system is of Fi-Fo type with control of each individual bottle, for a guaranteed reliability that only a company with 140-years experience in the wine industry can offer.
