The new system introduced on the market permits to handle and move cylindrical and tapered bottles with different dimensions from inlet to outlet of the filling bloc without need of change-outs. The most distinguishing characteristic consists in grippers controlled by springs, without use of air or solenoid valves, with considerable energy saving and longer lifetime, designed to run a variety of different bottle formats without any intervention of the operators.
The infeed-screws have been replaced by a pad system capable to suit a wide range of bottle dimensions and provided with an automatic powered system adjustable to the requested dimensions or by transmissions and “starwheel on starwheel” transfers that never lose the contact with the container.
Both the rinser grippers and the grippers moving the bottles inside the filler allow a very strong universal grip for handling all the bottle necks, with reduction in maintenance and operating costs, and a gentle and precise filling of the product in order to ensure sealing between filling valve and bottle mouth and also flexibility and duration of the gaskets.
A new fill height detection system placed immediately before the screw caps feed chute permits to verify the correct filling of the container and to close the container immediately after the filler exit, in order to minimize the oxidation.
