“Customers’ imagination has no limits. We work so that everyone can follow freely his own market strategy”.
A conversation with Roberto Azzolini, Bertolaso sales manager, is an opportunity to learn about the characteristics of a better bottling.
What are the factors that make the difference ? It depends on the industry. For still wine, the oxygen pick-up, which must be reduced to a minimum in order not to alter the quality. For sparkling wine, it is important to fill at room temperature. For spirits, the ideal plant must be able to avoid losses in alcohol levels.
How can a plant improve productivity? Speed is most important, in bottle, cork or cap format changes as well as in product type changes, with the certainty of no contamination between the liquids.
We often talk about Industry 4.0. Yes, traceability is another issue. A system must be capable of monitoring all phases: washing, filling, integrity of caps, capsules, labels, etc., not only on the lot, but on every single bottle, in order to ensure total traceability.
What scenarios are you envisaging ? Today’s trend is to provide even more flexible machines. Productions will be more and more versatile (still and sparkling wines, flavoured beverages, cocktails…) and our machines must keep up.
What is your commitment? Our most innovative commitment is to provide fully integrated systems, synchronized lines in which bottles enter to be sanitized and come out as finished products ready for the marketplace.
Experience and control play a lead role.
